ORGANISERS
The Agroecology Europe Forum 2025 is organised by 16 partners, five of which are the core partners of the Forum: Agroecology Europe, MiljöMatematik, SLU, Albaeco and Malmö municipality. These five organisations have been planning the Forum together since the start, beginning the collaborative process already in September 2023. The other eleven partners have entered the partnership since the spring of 2025. You can read about all the partners, and their involvement in the Forum, below.

International host

Agroecology Europe (AEEU) is an international association of members who wants to exchange knowledge and experiences on agroecology, to place agroecology high on the European agenda and to support the transition toward agroecological practices, sustainable food systems and policies. To support exchange, reflection and bottom-up contributions, every two years Agroecology Europe organises together with local farmers, universities, social movement organisations, local administrations and non-governmental organisations an Agroecology Europe Forum.
Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences

The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) is crucial in promoting sustainable living through science and education. By emphasising the interaction between humans, animals, ecosystems, and the responsible use of natural resources, we support sustainable social development and enhance living conditions on our planet.

Albaeco is an independent organization with broad expertise in sustainable development and cutting-edge competence in planetary boundaries, resilience, transformation, ecosystem services, and biodiversity. Albaeco was founded in 1998 and is a co-founder of the Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University. They offer consulting services focused on how businesses can transform and become more sustainable and value-creating, always based on the latest interdisciplinary research on the interaction between ecology, economy, and society.
